Google Maps hacking

Wednesday 28 September, 2005 @ 15:50

Yesterday I started hacking Google Maps. I’ve been polishing it up ‘till now, but the infowindow styling is a bit of a problem with variable sized images embedded into it. It sometimes flows out of the box, in Firefox atleast.

The result, however, is still quite nice.
It’s a map of BeyondUnreal forum members. Not very complete, but there’s no location information in the user profiles of the forum I can rely on, so I have to pretty much ask everyone for their location. It’s slowly starting to fill up, though. :)
